Water, a splash of alcohol or witch hazel, and a few drops of high‑quality essential oils like lavender and lemon. Shake before use.
Our family’s slow, faithful shift toward a home that honors God’s creation—using simple, natural products and making what we can with our own hands.
I didn’t wake up one day with a perfectly low‑tox life. It started with a question: What would it look like to steward our bodies and home in a way that honors the Lord and the way He designed us? One small change led to another—reading labels, learning the dangers of synthetics, choosing simple ingredients, and practicing old‑fashioned skills that make our home feel like a little apothecary.
We don’t do perfection. We do progress. We choose the highest‑quality essential oils and cleanest products we can find, use what we have, and make what we’re able. It’s slower, but it’s also richer, and it’s taught us to trust God with the process.
Scripture that guides me: “So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31
